Advanced closed-lid mode keeps Claude Resumer working with your MacBook shut. Not asleep, not on standby, actually running. It switches to Low Power Mode while the lid is closed, stops automatically at 10% battery, and restores your original settings afterwards.

Does VS Code need to stay open?
No. Claude Resumer can open the correct project when the reset time arrives. If your Mac is sleeping, it retries after wake.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Automatic and manual resume pause until you subscribe. Your chats and settings remain untouched.
Can it really keep working with the lid closed?
Yes. Advanced closed-lid mode keeps it running with the MacBook shut, using Low Power Mode and stopping at 10% battery. It shows a clear heat and ventilation warning before you enable it.
Does it work with multiple chats?
Yes. Select any combination of sources and chats. They are handled one by one so windows do not interfere.
Can I change the resume message?
Yes. The message is editable in the app before any session is resumed.
Can it keep my Mac awake?
Yes. Enable Keep Mac awake to prevent idle sleep while Claude Resumer is running. The display can still turn off.
Which languages are supported?
English, Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Russian. Claude Resumer follows your macOS language automatically.
Is this made by Anthropic?
No. Claude Resumer is an independent utility and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. It never bypasses Claude's permission prompts or safety checks.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Anytime. Your access stays active until the end of the paid period, and you manage or cancel everything yourself in the customer portal. Open the customer portal.
Is it open source?
Yes. The macOS app source is public under the GPL-3.0 license, so you can read and audit the code on GitHub.
